Atrium Gallery Opportunities
|
|
The Atrium Gallery is managed by the members of the VCAC Visual Arts Committee, comprised of accomplished
artists, arts professionals, and arts advocates from across Ventura County. Jurors and Judges are selected based
on the exhibit subject matter. The goal of the committee is to highlight and promote the breadth and diversity of the
visual arts for the enrichment of the community. Approximately 3000 citizens and 1200 employees pass through the
gallery daily. The VCAC welcomes your participation.

Arts Mini-Grant Program
|
|
ARTS-IN-THE-CLASSROOM MINI-GRANTS
Inaugurated in 2004, the Mini-Grant program has approved over 35 classroom arts projects for funding.
The mini-grants provide a source of support for the elementary schools to partner with local arts organizations and
artists in bringing standards based arts into the classroom.

This program began in June 2010 with an Artists in Community Partnership Grant awarded to Teal Rowe by the
Ventura County Arts Council as part of the ArtsLIVE in Ventura County initiative, in partnership with the
Ventura County Community Foundation, generously funded by the James Irvine Foundation's Communities Advancing
the Arts initiative and the generous support of many local individuals, organizations, and foundations - including
City of Oxnard, El Concilio Family Service, City of Oxnard's Graffiti Task Force, Ventura County Probation
Department, Armando Lopez, and Downtown Center for the Arts.
