VENTURA COUNTY’S TEN-DAY
ARTS WEEK 2008 CELEBRATION
OCTOBER 3 - 12, 2008

SPOTLIGHTING CULTURAL EVENTS COUNTYWIDE
BEGINNING ON CALIFORNIA ARTS DAY

California Arts Day is October 3, 2008

VCAC coordinates and promotes a countywide Arts Week celebration that coincides with California Arts Day. Artists and arts organizations are encouraged to schedule
activities during this ten day “week” and VCAC
publishes a full color calendar of events and a separate
pull-out section in the Ventura County Star.

The Pacific View Mall has partnered with the Ventura
County Arts Council in sponsoring an exhibit of student
art work at the mall from October 3-12th.Ventura County students grades K-12 are invited to participate.
